Another important distinction from the University of Athens was awarded to Mr Konstantinos Giotis, the founder of DHI Global Medical Group. Mr Giotis was awarded by the Medical School of The University of Athens, for his lifelong contribution to the field of diagnosis, prevention and treatment of Alopecia and hair and scalp diseases. The award was given during the 26th Academy Masters Meeting in Athens in the filled ‘Ioannis Drakopoulos’ amphitheatre, by the Honourable, Prof Haralampos Papageorgiou from the Department of Psychiatry. This award is a historic first – the first time a Greek University acknowledges the impact of an individual in the field of hair restoration.
It is important to also mention that Mr Konstantinos Giotis was also recently awarded a honorary diploma from the Glaude Bernard Lyon 1 University in Lyon, France for his valuable and important contribution and participation to the teaching and academic seminars for the past 10 years. Moreover, During the 2nd International Congress of the World Institute of FUE in June 2017, Mr Konstantinos Giotis was listed among the seven most important reformers in the history of Hair Restoration, the only European in the list.
