The World Medical Congress on Hair Loss – Academy Masters Meeting 2024, which took place on Saturday 6 July in Athens, and Sunday 7 July in Lavrion, was a complete success.
The first day of the conference, which this year was entitled “Hair is Energy”, was broadcast live via Zoom directly from the DHI Athens clinic and gave the participants the unique opportunity to witness all the services offered by DHI Global Medical Group.
During the conference, 21 Workshops were presented, including, hair transplant sessions for both men and women, beard and eyebrow restoration sessions, a complete presentation of hair prosthetics, PRP treatments, hair loss diagnosis with the DHI DSA system and an SMP session by Scalp Academy Greece.
The second day of the conference took place in Lavrion, in the impressive multi-purpose hall that houses the Heraclitus Greek Philosophical Forum, founded on the initiative of DHI’s founder, Konstantinos P. Giotis.
Conference attendees included; Distinguished academics, numerous DHI partners from all over the world, as well as from DHI Athens, DHI Thessaloniki and DHI London who had the unique opportunity to witness the new technological innovations of DHI Global Medical Group,. These include the new Hair Loss Diagnosis and Prevention System, VR and View Labs systems, updates to the DHI product line, the new cooperation program with hairdressers and barbers, and the unique advantages of MPG (Scalp Micropigmentation).
This year’s Academy Masters Meeting was honored with the presence of leading personalities of the scientific field including George Cotsarelis (Prof. of Dermatology: University of Pennsylvania) who participated directly from the USA via Zoom, Professor of Surgical Anatomy; Panagiotis Skandalakis, Professor of Psychiatry; Charalambos Papageorgiou, Plastic Surgeon; Vassilis Michalopoulos and the leading trainer of Scalp Academy Greece; Maria Koloni.
The DHI World Medical Congress “Hair is Energy” concluded with a Gala Dinner in Lavrion under the magical sounds of renowned musician, Vassilis Saleas.
